Hi, I’m Jordan Kirkpatrick.
I am a relationally rooted licensed therapist who deeply believes healing happens in connection — with ourselves, with others, with our stories, with our nervous systems, and within the larger systems that have shaped us.
I also believe healing is rarely meant to stay contained within one person. When we begin to understand ourselves with more honesty, safety, and compassion, that change often moves outward — into our relationships, families, parenting, partnerships, communities, and the generations that come after us.
The people who often find their way to my work are thoughtful, sensitive, highly capable, and deeply tired. They may be the ones who hold a lot, feel a lot, notice a lot, and have learned to keep going even when something inside of them is asking to slow down.
Many have spent years being the strong one, the responsible one, the peacekeeper, the overthinker, the fixer — the person who can understand everyone else’s experience, but struggles to fully trust their own.
My deepest intention is that therapy with me feels like being met by a real human.
Someone warm. Steady. Curious. Honest. Deeply present. Someone who can sit with the complexity of your story without rushing to simplify it, pathologize it, or turn it into a checklist of things to fix.
In our work together, we slow things down.
We make space for the parts of you that have been working so hard to protect you. We get curious about the patterns that keep showing up in your relationships, your nervous system, your sense of self, your boundaries, your grief, your identity, and the roles you have learned to carry. We explore what may be ready to soften, what may need to be grieved, and what may be asking to be reclaimed.
Because we are relational beings, this work is never just about what happens inside of you. It is also about how you come to know yourself more clearly in connection — how you show up, ask for what you need, repair, set boundaries, love, grieve, trust, and create something different than what may have been handed to you.
My therapeutic approach is deeply informed by my clinical experience, specialized training, and ongoing study of attachment, neuroscience, trauma, experiential and somatic practices, systemic processes, and neurodiversity-affirming care. These frameworks help me hold the whole of your experience with depth, care, and curiosity — including your inner world, your felt sense of self, your relationships, your protective patterns, your survival wisdom, and the meaning you have made from the experiences you have lived.
In my practice, I often support clients navigating complex childhood trauma, CPTSD, anxiety, depression, ADHD/AuDHD, OCD, burnout, grief, betrayal, people-pleasing, boundaries, family-of-origin wounds, identity exploration, relationship struggles, and the tender process of learning how to trust themselves and connect with others in more honest, grounded ways.
I currently offer in-person therapy only. This is an intentional part of my work because I deeply believe the felt sense of the therapeutic space truly matters. Healing is not just something we talk about; it is something we begin to experience in real time — through safety, presence, grounding, connection, and the way your nervous system learns what it feels like to be met without having to perform.
Because of this, I have taken great care in creating an office space that feels grounded, cozy, and welcoming — a space with soft textures, gentle lighting, grounding tools, meaningful books, and a complimentary coffee and snack bar. Sometimes the “little things” are not so little at all. A warm drink, a soft place to land, something mindful to do with your hands, or a room that feels steady and predictable become part of the therapeutic experience itself.
You may also notice Rolo, my service dog, settled nearby. He is a gentle, goofy, incredibly sweet presence in the office, and for many clients, having him in the room adds a quiet sense of warmth and ease. As with everything in the space, his presence is held with care and always guided by what feels supportive for the work we are doing together.
In addition to traditional therapy sessions, I also offer therapy intensives for clients who want more time and spaciousness than a 50-minute weekly session allows. Intensives can be especially helpful when you are navigating a specific stuck point, wanting to move more deeply into relational or trauma work, or needing a more focused container than weekly therapy can provide. They are simply a spacious, intentional way to give important work the room it deserves.
At the heart of my work is the belief that healing does not have to mean becoming someone else.
Often, healing is the slow, supported process of coming home to yourself — and learning how to live from that place with more honesty, softness, clarity, choice, and connection.
If something in you feels curious, comforted, or even just a little bit less alone reading this, I would be honored to connect.
